About Me

A love of children and my desire to make a difference drew me to teaching.

I have been a part of the Round Rock ISD community for 19 years - as a parent, an Educational Assistant at Pond Springs Elementary, an Interventionist/Special Education Teacher at Neysa Callison Elementary, and currently as a Special Education Teacher at Forest North.

Having earned my Trained Teacher's Certificate from St. Margaret's College (Mumbai, India), I taught elementary and middle school classes for four years, until I was married. Then I chose to stay home with my daughters.

Several years later, we moved to Austin, where I have spent many happy days creating memories with my family, volunteering, continuing to publish stories for children, and working with kids!

When I decided to start teaching again, I joined Austin Community College, earning Texas certifications in Special Education, ESL, TAG and General Education EC-6.

I am excited to have completed two years at Forest North. It feels like home now, and I  look forward to continue working with the amazing students, parents, and teachers of this community!
