The more practice they get, the more comfortable our kids will be on test day. Please spend some time over the next few weeks to help your child familiarize themselves with the sample test features on the STAAR-A test. Questions pertain to 3rd through 5th grade, and are only meant to introduce students to the features available.

- RRISD Summer camp registration is open Summer Camps will be offered at 3 locations this summer: Blackland Prairie ES, Deerpark MS, and Great Oaks ES.

- The State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) online tutorials are now available through the STAAR Online Testing Platform. The tutorial shows students how to navigate through the test. The practice tests provide students with an opportunity to interact with test interface, respond to questions, and locate and use available tools. Click here for information about the STAAR-A test

- Forest North participates in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library (DPIL) Program. This program is coordinated through the Dolly Parton Foundation and the United Way of Williamson County and provides books to children under 5 in our attendance area. Babies and kids, birth through age 5, receive one book per month, delivered to their home, for FREE! Click for more information.
- Winter Fest: Saturday, December 12, 2015, 10 am to 12 pm Interested RRISD families will receive a holiday food basket. Read more...

- The last 9 weeks of school...yikes! The weeks ahead are chock-ful of activities for every grade level. Please make sure your child gets the rest they need to be alert and ready for school each day! Free breakfast is provided for all students during the week of STAAR testing.
