More successful days!

A LOT has happened since I last bragged about my SMART Eagles!

2nd graders completed 'How to' books in Writing and explored non-fiction texts in Reading.

4th graders learned all about angles, found them in everyday objects, drew them, named them, measured them, and counted them. They unleashed the poet in them, completing several poems and a successful Poetry Slam, and continued to read and pass quizzes on more Bluebonnet books. 5th grade also turned creative with amazing poems.

Everyone took a well-earned break for Thanksgiving. Some of us traveled, some played computer games, some read, some watched movies, and some got in many hours of that beauty sleep. Hope you spent the break doing exactly what YOU wanted to do...for now it's back to work, once more.

Three weeks will fly by - Reading, Writing, Math... Activities, Games, Puzzles... Assignments, Quizzes, Tests... Author visits, Choir performances, Holiday parties...oh YES! 2014 is almost at an end...let us see it out in FNE style - with lots of hard work, smart choices, and FUN!!
